Gardens By the Bay is one of the man made wonders you will come across in Singapore. This spectacular garden consists of 18 Super trees with heights that range between 82 feet and 160 feet. The Gardens By The Bay also have two conservatories named Cloud Forest and Flower Dome. Marina Bay Sands Skypark

The Marina Bay Sands is a very unique and phenomenally designed hotel in Singapore having the best overlooking panoramic views of the city. It is shaped like a floating boat at the top. The Skypark is the observation deck at the 57th floor of the hotel. If you are a guest at the hotel you can also get an access to the infinity pool located at the top of the hotel. If you are not a guest you can still get a view of the pool from the observation deck.

Useful Tip: I would recommend you to visit the Marina Bay Sands Skypark during the sunset time, so that you can see the transition of the city from day time to night time.

Merlion Park

The Merlion park exhibits the iconic Merlion Statue of Singapore. The Merlion is a mythical creature with a lion’s head and body of a fish. The lion’s head symbolizes the Lion City while the body of a fish of Merlion depicts the origin of the city as a fishing village when it was called ‘Temasek’, which means sea town in Javanese.   • You will need to reach the HarbourFront MRT Station from  any nearest MRT station.
  • Once reached the HarbourFront MRT station follow the signs through Vivo City Mall which is interconnected to this MRT Station.
  • This will lead you to the ticketing counter from where you can purchase Sentosa Pass.
  • This pass will allow you to access the attractions mentioned and also use the Monorail for commutation between these attractions.

Travel Tip : You can also reach Sentosa Island using the cable cars that operate from the HarbourFront tower which is located at Exit B of the HarbourFront MRT Station. Getting there through the cable car service is very enjoyable as you get to catch glimpses of the beautiful scenic views over the city, harbor and Sentosa.

The timings of Sentosa Island depends on the various attractions there. Some are open from 9 AM to 10 PM while some close at 6 PM.
