where are you going?

Australia is saturated with American movies and television programs. So when we started planning our Warner Brothers Studio Tour, I knew that much of it would be familiar to us. Some of our most favourite programs are filmed here and I was looking forward to seeing behind-the-scenes where all the magic is made.

Wow, so its Christmas week already, it feels like yesterday I was excited about heading off to Cambodia at the end of July. We have had so many amazing experiences this year and it’s going to be hard to top in 2017 but I’ll give it a red hot crack! So I thought this week we would wrap up the highlights of 2016, including our favourite hotels in each place.

For the fourth year in a row Melbourne has hosted White Night, a now annual event that is also held in 13 other locations around the world including Paris, London, Tel Aviv, Chicago and Montreal to name a few. White Night Melbourne it is held around the end of February for one Saturday night from 7pm until 7am.

During our recent trip to Vietnam, we needed a find a Ho Chi Minh airport hotel as we had a late flight in and then a flight out the next morning and I didn’t see the point in going right in to town. The kids had been on the road for close to 19 hours when we arrived in Vietnam.
