This is a city of over 10 million people. It’s massive and there’s a lot of choice. As someone who spent years living and working in New York City, I’ve stayed in a wide variety of places here. I’ve Couchsurfed, stayed in cheap hostels, cheap hotels, expensive hotels (thanks to travel hacking), B&Bs, pod hotels, friend’s couches, Airbnbs, and everything in between.
